Gateway City/Port. 1. A city that serves as a departure or arrival point for international flights. Trailways Member-Company Service Area. 1) A single town and/or city--and/or a group of towns and/or cites, located within the authorized territory (radius from base) granted to the member-company at the time of its original Trailways application for affiliation. 2) A single town and/or city--and/or a group of towns and/or cites, located within the authorized territory (radius from base) granted to a current member-company that officially requested an expansion of its Trailways Territory. (Example 1: Trailways Territorial location base is Wichita, KS; member's authorized radius from base is within 45 miles; town/city service area includes the towns of El Dorado, Newton, Wellington, and Oxford, KS. Example 2: Trailways Territorial location base is Wichita, KS, and requested/received expansion of territory to include the greater city limits of Dodge City, KS; town/city service area includes no additional towns or cities.)
