Aboard the Trailways Bus
Upon boarding a Trailways bus, please have the pre-paid ticket or boarding pass ready for the agent or driver to inspect and/or to validate. Please retain your ticket throughout the journey; you may be requested to show it at other times.
If possible, please have the exact travel fare in-hand when boarding a Trailways bus from a flag-stop location; this effort helps the bus driver stay on schedule.
While traveling onboard a Trailways bus, passengers must adjust the volume of a personal radio, stereo, etc., so it will not irritate, disturb, or annoy other customers seated nearby.
Smoking is prohibited onboard all Trailways buses, and in all enclosed areas at bus stations.
In consideration of other Trailways customers, please use a cell/mobile phone in a discreet manner.
While the Trailways bus is moving, a passenger may not distract the driver, in any way.
Every Trailways passenger must comply with any lawful direction given by the bus driver for ensuring the comfort or safety of all passengers and/or with regard to the placing of any article brought by the passenger onto the bus.
No passenger shall neither travel on the platform beyond the forward white line nor stand while traveling on the upper deck of a Trailways double-decked bus.
Obscene or offensive language will not be used while onboard a Trailways bus. Riotous or disorderly conduct, spitting upon or from the bus, and/or willful damage, soil or defilement to the bus will not be tolerated at any time!
Notices or advertisements in- or on- the Trailways bus, shall not be willfully be removed, displaced, defaced, or altered.
A passenger must leave the Trailways bus immediately, if the bus driver believes the individual is in a condition which is offensive to other passengers; if a person is reasonably expected to harm other passengers and/or the interior of the bus.
Dangerous, offensive, or defensive articles, even packed in a case, may not be brought aboard the Trailways bus, if it is likely to cause damage or injury.
Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought aboard or consumed while onboard a Trailways bus.
A passenger will not be allowed to board a Trailways bus if, in the opinion of the bus driver, the individual is intoxicated.
Illegal drugs are not allowed aboard a Trailways bus.
Only medicines, which are used for remedial purposes, are allowed aboard a Trailways bus.
All Trailways bus companies reserve the right to refuse entry to- or remove from- any of its vehicles, any passenger who shall be, in the opinion of the bus driver, or any other company staff official, which appears to be in breach of any of the provisions outlined herein and above.
Any passenger refused admission to- or removed from- a Trailways bus shall not be entitled to any refund or compensation whatsoever; and, the said bus company shall have no liability to the passenger, whatsoever!
